INTETAIN 2011 will include an amazing Demo Space where to show off the latest academic and industrial research achievements. The idea is to bring together practictioners, researchers, and attendees to experiment, discuss and collaborate on new interactive technologies for entertaiment. Specifically, we are looking for proposals from both industry and academia for interactive demos to be held during a dedicated session at the conference, and for presentations to an audience of non experts, including the visitors and tourists attending the wonderful site of the Conference of Palazzo Ducale, the heart of cultural, museal and artistic, initiatives in the city of Genoa.
Topics for demo submissions include, but are not limited to:
- New technology for interaction and entertainment gaming
- New entertainment applications
- Interactive Sound and Music Computing Technology
- Edutainment - Museum interactive applications
- Brain Computer interfaces
- Exertion interfaces
- Novel theories and paradigms for interactive entertainment
Kids' Intetain. During the conference special moments will be organized for bringing together kids and researchers through visits to the Demo Space. If you have an interactive project or technology that is hands-on and kid-friendly, we encourage you to present it in the Kids' Intetain. We're looking for short-duration projects that can be accomplished in five minutes or up to one hour by small groups of kids visiting The Demo space.

Format & Submission:
All demo submissions should be accompanied by a short PDF file containing the following additional information:
- The title of the short or long paper accompanying the demo, or the extended abstract describing it (Demo Paper).
- A short description of the setup and demo
- Requirements (hardware, power, network, space, sound conditions, etc, time needed for setup)
- A sketch or photo of the setup
- Interest in participating to Kids' Intetain.
Support to demos from the organizers is a table and power supply. Specific requirements might be exceptionally considered, but in general demos are expected to be autonomous (no special technical support provided).
Demo proposals should be submitted online, following the instructions that can be found in the conference web site (http://www.intetain.org).

Review
Demo proposals will be reviewed by a review team that will take into account aspects such as novelty, relevance to the conference, coverage of topics and available resources. Accepted demos will be included in the conference proceedings, as Demo Papers.
